Detective Carter invited Lauren back for another interview.
This time...
Tyler wasn't there.
Neither were my parents.
For nearly twenty minutes she said nothing.
Then she quietly asked,
"If I tell the truth...can my son be protected?"
The detective nodded.
Lauren broke down.
She admitted Tyler had spent days obsessing over the inheritance.

"If Bridget disappeared, everything would eventually come back to me."
Lauren thought he was venting.
Until two nights before the party.
